12-year-old West Michigan boy reels in shark off coast of Florida

A local boy had the catch of a lifetime in Florida.

12-year-old Noah VanAmeyden from East Leroy reeled in a shark off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.

The shark had the appearance of a great white, although its species is unconfirmed.

The shark was able to unhook itself, according to Noah’s dad, Mike. Great catch, Noah!
