Streetlight out in your neighborhood? Here’s how to report it to JEA before Halloween

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Trick-or-treaters will be heading out in neighborhoods across Jacksonville before we know it.

And JEA wants to make sure the streets are safe and well-lit for their candy collection adventures.

“With families getting ready to walk through neighborhoods and cross busy streets, JEA wants to help everyone stay safe by ensuring trick-or-treaters and drivers can see clearly with the help of well-lit streets,” spokesperson Karen McAllister said.

JEA is asking you to alert the city-owned utility if any streetlights are out in your neighborhood so repairs can be made before Halloween.

If reported early enough, streetlights can be fixed before trick-or-treaters hit the streets on Oct. 31, McAllister says.

Just use the easy online reporting tool at jea.com/streetlight.
