FORT PIERCE – The Fort Pierce Police Department is searching for a suspect who fatally shot a person inside the We Buy Gold and Silver pawn shop at 46031 U.S. 1, Fort Pierce on April 28.
At about 7:12 p.m., officers responded to the pawn ship and found what they believed to be a woman lying on the floor with blood all around her, according to police reports.
Upon further investigation, and in an attempt to identify the victim while cross-referencing government issued ID, it was determined that the victim was an adult white-Hispanic, male, according to police reports.
Initial investigation determined that two men — one Black, another white — went into the business, encountered the victim and, at one point, one of the two men shot the victim multiple times, subsequently killing her and then fleeing the scene, according to police reports.
