City of Cape Coral will host its annual Hurricane Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 30 at the German American Club, 2101 SW Pine Island Road. The free event will feature more than 30 organizations offering guidance on storm preparation ahead of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season. Attendees can learn about evacuation zones, emergency plans and disaster supply kits, with presentations from local officials and WINK News Meteorologist Katie Walls. City departments, along with agencies such as Lee County Electric Cooperative, the U.S. Coast Guard and Lee Health, will provide resources and preparedness information.
