We’re collecting cereal, oatmeal, granola and protein bars for Tampa Bay-area kids to eat this summer — when daily school meals stop, and hunger needs increase.

TAMPA, Fla. — 10 Tampa Bay News is once again teaming up with Feeding Tampa Bay to collect one of the most requested food items among hungry kids: cereal.

Our 2026 Cereal for Summer drive kicked off on Friday, May 1, and runs through Friday, June 5.

We’re collecting boxes of cereal, oatmeal, granola, protein bars and breakfast bars for Tampa Bay-area kids to eat this summer — when daily school meals stop, and hunger needs increase.

Those who would like to donate can drop off items at:

10 Tampa Bay News Studio
11450 Gandy Boulevard N
St. Petersburg, FL 33702
Phone: 727-577-1010

Phone: 813-254-1190

We’ll also be hosting a collection day on June 5 at two Publix locations: the Publix at Britton Plaza in Tampa and the Publix on 4th Street N in St. Pete. Come meet your favorite 10 Tampa Bay News anchors and reporters as you donate cereal to help families in need.

You can also make monetary donations at CerealForSummer.org. Florida Dairy Farmers will match every dollar donated up to $10,000. They’ll also be providing milk to pair with the cereal for a balanced, nutritious breakfast.
