BELL, Fla. (WCJB) – Several schools in North Central Florida were placed on lockdown Friday afternoon due to unconfirmed threats.
All Gilchrist County public schools were placed on a lockdown due to a threat to shoot up Bell High School; however, it was unfounded, authorities say.
In Marion County, an anonymous bomb threat was made to Westport High School. Officers searched the school, and students were placed on Code Red lockdown.
