TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Human remains were discovered in Leon County, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives responded to the 2000 block of Silver Lake Road last Friday and found additional remains and evidence, including a wallet.
According to LCSO, detectives believe the remains belong to a man who was reported missing in Leon County in August 2025. Next of kin has been notified, however, LCSO has not publicly identified the man.
There is no evidence of foul play at this time, LCSO said in a press release.
The investigation is ongoing as biological testing is conducted.
