Crash involving St. Pete police vehicle, motorcycle shuts down intersection near Northeast High School

A spokesperson with the police department said based on initial information, there are no life-threatening injuries, but investigators will be on scene for a while.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — An accident involving a St. Petersburg police vehicle and a motorcycle has shut down an intersection Friday night. 

It happened just after 8:30 p.m. near Northeast High School on 54th Avenue North and 16th Street North. 

A spokesperson with the police department confirmed to 10 Tampa Bay News that based on initial information, there are no life-threatening injuries, but investigators will be on scene for a while.
