Treasure Coast High evacuated after bomb threat in Port St. LuciePolice sweep finds no suspicious items after caller reports bomb on Southwest Darwin Boulevard | St. Lucie County

PORT ST. LUCIE – Port St. Lucie Police is investigating a bomb threat which caused an evacuation of Treasure Coast High School on May 1, according to police reports.

The police station received a call at about 2:45 p.m., May 1, where the caller said that a bomb was in the area of Southwest Darwin Boulevard, according to police reports.

Officers evacuated the high school, which had already dismissed students for the day, according to police reports. The school is at 1000 SW Darwin Boulevard.

At the end of the investigation, no suspicious items were found and the school was turned back over to administrative staff, according to police reports.

While there is no threat to the community, the Port St. Lucie Police Department says that it takes all threats seriously and will continue to follow all appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of the community.
