TEMPERATURES ACROSS CENTRAL FLORIDA, BUT WE’RE GOING TO BE COOLING DOWN BY TOMORROW. ALL IN BETWEEN, THOUGH, WE ARE GOING TO BE LOOKING AT IMPACT WEATHER FOR SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS LATER ON TODAY, BUT THERE IS GOING TO BE A CHANCE FOR SOME STRONGER TO SEVERE STORMS TO BE PART OF THAT FORECAST, WE ARE GOING TO BE LOOKING AT GUSTY WINDS TO BE THE PRIMARY THREAT. NOW HAIL AND TORNADOES ARE GOING TO BE RATHER LOW STILL ON THE TABLE, BUT WE DON’T REALLY HAVE A LOT OF THE MOISTURE AND UPLIFTING WE NEED TO REALLY PRODUCE THAT. SO THAT’S WHY WE BE WATCHING FOR SOME OF THE WINDS LATER ON TODAY. TEMPERATURES IN THE 60S AND THE 70S AT THIS HOUR, 71 IN LEESBURG. AND AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON, WE’LL BE WATCHING THAT SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM THE NORTH AND FROM THE WEST. SO BETWEEN 1 TO 4 P.M., AREAS OF MARION COUNTY SHOULD HAVE THEIR EYES TO THE SKY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE ALONG THE COASTLINE FROM PALM COAST, AND THEN MOVING IN A LITTLE FURTHER SOUTH TOWARDS DAYTONA AND NEW SMYRNA BEACH, AND THEN MOVING IN THROUGH THE ORLANDO METRO 4 TO 7 P.M. ANYONE FURTHER SOUTH COULD BE SEEING SOME OF THOSE STORMS DEVELOPING LATER ON TONIGHT. SO WE ARE ALREADY LOOKING AT A WIND ADVISORY FOR AREAS OF THE COASTLINE MOVING INTO SANFORD, BITHLO, AND THE ORLANDO METRO, DELAND AS WELL, KIND OF MOVES IN TOWARDS I-4 AND DOWN THE 95 CORRIDOR FOR SOME OF THE WIND GUSTS UPWARDS OF 40MPH. SO SATELLITE AND RADAR AT THIS HOUR LOOKS MOSTLY ON THE DRY SIDE. BUT THE PANHANDLE SHOWS A LOT OF THE SHOWERS AND STORMS MOVING IN AT THIS HOUR. AND I’VE BEEN WATCHING THIS QUITE CLOSELY TO SEE WHAT THEY ARE NOTICING OVER THERE. IF THEY SEE ANY OF THAT SEVERE POTENTIAL AND WHAT THAT COULD MEAN FOR US HERE AT HOM
