TAMPA, FL — A ground stop is in place at Tampa International Airport as severe weather moves through the region on Saturday.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the ground stop went into effect around 11:30 a.m. and remained in place until 4:30 p.m. The stop is set to expire at 5:30 p.m. with a medium probability of extension.

As of 4:30 p.m., more than 200 flights had experienced delays, according to flight tracking website FlightAware.com.
