Located next to the Winter Park Library, the garden was developed by Winter Park’s Natural Resources & Sustainability and Parks & Recreation departments, along with the Winter Park Library and University of Florida Institute of Food and Agriculture Services Extension Orange County. In addition, O-Town Compost is donating the compost being used in the garden.

The path from the Winter Park Library to the Learning Garden includes a StoryWalk activity that will be updated regularly. (NICK GEORGOUDIOU)

The placement of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Park Learning Garden is strategic. Educational programming produced by the Winter Park Library will be a key component of the new space. (NICK GEORGOUDIOU)
