The shooting happened back on Aug. 12 in the area of Southwest 4th Street and 10th Avenue in Little Havana.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area and found two male victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

One of the victims, 42-year-old Juan Chaneton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second victim, whose identity wasn’t released, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Two other victims weren’t injured in the shooting, police said.

Detectives were able to get a description of the vehicle involved in the shooting and Florentino-Guerrero was later found driving it, an arrest report said.

Investigators were able to obtain fingerprints from the vehicle that matched Soriano, and determined the vehicle was also registered to Soriano’s mother, the report said.

Police haven’t given a possible motive for the shooting but said it remains under investigation.

“This once again shows the unrelenting dedication of Miami Police Officers and Detectives to identify and apprehend those who commit crimes in the City of Miami,” the department said in a statement.
