Florida State needs some offensive line talent in its 2027 recruiting class. Ian Walker, out of Pennington, New Jersey, has found himself on the Seminoles’ radar.
The 6-foot-6, 305-pounder has around 30 scholarship offers on the table. Now, he can add another as FSU extended him a scholarship on Friday. He is a four-star prospect.
“After a Great Conversation with @CoachNickWill I am BLESSED to receive a offer from @FSUFootball,” Walker said on social media.
In order to land Walker, Florida State is going to have to beat out some top-tier programs. Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, Oregon, Florida, Auburn, and more have also offered the standout from The Pennington School.
Walker is the nation’s No. 411 overall player and the No. 22 interior offensive lineman. He’s listed as the No. 8 prospect in the state of New Jersey as well.
Offensive line coach Herb Hand needs to have a strong showing in the upcoming recruiting cycle after bringing some pretty good talent in the 2026 class.
