Formula 1 returns to the track after a five-week hiatus with its first of three trips to the United States this weekend for the Miami Grand Prix. The race, now in its fifth year, takes place on a temporary circuit that envelopes the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium.
The race will begin three hours earlier than originally scheduled — now 1 p.m. ET — due to the threat of thunderstorm delays and darkness.

Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli hopes that the long layoff won’t slow his momentum as the Italian has won the last two grands prix after finishing P2 at the season opener in Australia.
This also marks the first weekend of Yahoo Sports’ partnership with Apple TV for F1 coverage. The race will stream on Apple TV at 1 p.m. ET Sunday, May 3. Yahoo Sports will also stream the weekend practice and qualifying session live on its platforms.
