JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A shooting on Edgewood Avenue in Jacksonville early Sunday left one man injured, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO said officers responded to the 2800 block of Edgewood Avenue around 1 a.m. after shots were fired. When they arrived, officers located the victim with a gunshot wound to his leg. The man’s injury is considered non-life-threatening.
According to JSO, the victim was in a parking lot in the area when he was shot by an unknown suspect.
