May 4, 2026 – Pinellas Community Foundation is directing $150,000 in emergency funding to local food banks and pantries as demand rises across the county, with nearly 97,000 residents relying on SNAP benefits. The grants will support organizations including the St. Petersburg Free Clinic and other community partners, helping stabilize food access during economic strain and federal funding disruptions. Funds will be used to purchase food, expand hours and strengthen distribution across South, Mid and North Pinellas communities.
