ORLANDO, Fla. — Gatorland’s “Swamp Walk” has just launched jam-packed surprises for toddlers and their grandparents.
1. The theme park has launched even more educational hubs meant to create unexpected moments around every corner.
2. Enhancements include new QR codes that link to videos and deep-dives about Florida’s wetland ecosystems.
3. Guests will also learn the “secret life” of a swamp, focusing on how it filters our drinking water. The 2,000-foot walk dances on top of a natural cypress swamp, serving as a breeding march for alligators and a nesting ground for migratory birds.
4. The Swamp Walk is now even more of a living classroom, made possible with Conservation Florida, a nonprofit aimed at preventing unnecessary construction — and therefore, destruction — of land. “This was just the perfect opportunity to join forces and amplify both of our missions and to get more people to step out in nature and see why this is worth saving,” said Taylor McHugh, Gatorland’s director of strategic planning.
5. Meanwhile, the sixth annual “Gatorpalooza” festival is just weeks away, May 30 and 31, 2026. It features a live DJ, food vendors, craft vendors, and games. Access to all of this is included with regular park admission.
