INDIANTOWN, Fla. (CBS12) — A crash between an SUV and a semi-truck resulted in one man being taken to the hospital on Wednesday.

Martin County Fire Rescue said the crash happened a little after 12 p.m. at the intersection of Martin Highway and Allapattah Road. Fire Rescue says the crash resulted in the driver of the SUV having minor injuries, the semi-truck operator refused to be taken to the hospital.

No extrication was needed, MCFR says.

The crash led to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office closing Martin Highway. Eastbound traffic on Martin Highway was diverted at Fox Brown Road, according to MCSO. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
