The Port St. Lucie Police Department arrested Mary Adolphus, a former corrections officer, in connection with an armed bank robbery that occurred on June 6, 2025, at a PNC Bank on SW Gatlin Boulevard. Following a lengthy investigation, detectives developed probable cause leading to Adolphus’ arrest. It is not clear from the police department’s press release where Adolphous served as a corrections officer or when she stopped working. “This marks a significant development in bringing accountability to a crime that impacted our community,” Chief Leo Niemczyk said.
