Former corrections officer accused of June 2025 armed robbery at Port St. Lucie PNC bank

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman accused of committing an armed robbery at a PNC Bank in June 2025 has been identified as a former corrections officer.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department announced Wednesday that, after a thorough investigation, detectives developed probable cause to arrest Mary Adolphus.

“This marks a significant development in bringing accountability to a crime that impacted our community,” the department said in a Facebook post.

CBS12 previously reported that on June 6, 2025, Adolphus allegedly walked into the PNC Bank at 1306 SW Gatlin Blvd., placed her purse on the counter, and handed a note to a teller claiming she had a weapon. After receiving money, she fled the scene on foot.
