“The things that we’ve talked about, that we’ve known are problems, that we haven’t done well are evident that we need to improve on,” Lawrence said, “I really feel confident, optimistic, moving forward that this unit is going to really make the improvements, and obviously starts with me, and I’m excited for another opportunity. …”
And while the Jaguars’ veteran defensive end on Wednesday declined to discuss specifics about the health of his left wrist – and just how that wrist will be protected Sunday – he said the areas is getting stronger and he’s feeling better.
“I’m ready for it to be 100 percent all the way,” Walker said. “I feel great, though. I’m not saying I don’t feel good. I feel like I’m coming along. My healing process is definitely coming along well.”
