Bahamas Boat Propeller Accident Turns Deadly Enroute to Miami Hospital | NewsRadio WIOD

A diving accident in the Bahamas ends with the victim dying on boat enroute to a Miami hospital.

The Royal Bahamas Police say a 64-year-old man died after suffering his leg became entangled in the boat propeller while diving off Bimini.

Officers and the U.S. Coast Guard said there were six men aboard the 61-foot sport fishing vessel, Great Lakes, when they responded and began escorting them to south Florida.

Police say the unidentified man died on the way and an investigation is underway.
