Palm City animal sanctuary invites families for fun-filled day on the farm

PALM CITY, Fla. (CBS12) — A local animal sanctuary on the Treasure Coast is opening its doors this weekend and inviting the community to spend the day on the farm.

The Liberty Barn is hosting an open house on Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Palm City property on S.W. Honey Terrace.

The family-friendly event will feature games, raffles, and plenty of opportunities for guests to interact with farm animals.

Admission is donation-based, with proceeds helping support the rescue’s ongoing mission of caring for animals in need.

Visitors can meet a variety of animals, including horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, chickens, and turkeys.
