PORT ST. LUCIE – A 35-year-old Port St. Lucie man remains in the St. Lucie County Jail as of May 9 on child exploitation charges, according to jail records.

On May 8, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, along with SWAT Team and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of NE Jardain Rd., Port St. Lucie, according to sheriff’s office reports.

Detectives arrested Marco Antonio Fernandez on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation – offender over 18, victim between 12 and 16; transmission of harmful material to a minor by an electronic device; lewd computer solicitation of a child; and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to sheriff’s office reports.

He was taken to the St. Lucie County Jail where he is being held on a bond of $107,500, according to jail records.
