Diana Tyson
OBITUARY
Diana Tyson passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Diana was born in Orlando on April 11, 1959 and lived her entire life in the Orlando area, much of it in Christmas, FL, where she raised her children. After graduating from Colonial High School, Diana became a certified surgical technologist. She spent most of her career in plastic surgery. She worked for Dr. George Pope for 30 years, and 20 of those years she worked for Dr. Scott Rotatori as well. Diana was well-respected by the medical community, known for her incredibly strong work ethic, her conscientious attention to detail and her ability to put surgical patients at ease during stressful times.
As much as Diana loved working in the operating room, her true love was her family. Diana is survived by her parents, Larry and Janet Salyers; her brother Gary Salyers (Margaret); her daughters Carol Dishman (Michael), Katherine Tyson (Ian Ward) and Victoria Lotzia (Nicholas); as well as eight grandchildren.
Charitable donations in Diana’s memory can be made to Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando or the charity of your choice.
