TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Friday was a happy signing day over at Taylor County, where three Bulldog athletes signed grants of aid.
Colson Patrick will play soccer at Trinity College over in Jacksonville, while baseball players Britt Jimenez and Kyler Campbell will stay teammates at Melvin Christian College, and the trio giving a good example for other athletes to look up to.
“There’s hours and hours that go into this, and they’re just starting. The collegiate level isn’t easy. It’s not something you can roll into,” said Taylor County athletic director Jesse Braswell. “It’s a big deal for them to be able to have that opportunity. I’m certainly proud as our athletic director here, and I know our administration is to, to be able to provide that opportunity for them.”
