LARGO, Fla. — Largo Fire Rescue (LFR) said a woman and a 4-year-old girl were pronounced dead after a mobile home fire in Largo.
LFR said crews responded to a residential structure fire in the 14000 block of Belcher Road South at Westgate Mobile Home Park at around 2:20 a.m. on May 11.
The report said crews encountered heavy fire conditions coming from the residence upon arrival and three occupants were inside.
LFR said two of the occupants, a 4-year-old girl and a woman, were found inside the residence and pronounced dead on the scene.
The third occupant, a man, was transported to the hospital, per the report.
LFR said the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
