Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is seeking information on a pair of suspects accused of committing a “jugging” robbery at a Cape Coral McDonald’s.According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, “jugging” is a type of robbery where suspects follow victims to another location and commit a robbery after first observing the victims leave a local bank with a cash withdrawal.Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said the suspects in this case saw an older couple make a cash withdrawal and followed them to the McDonald’s located on Northeast Pine Island Road.The suspects then robbed the couple at the restaurant, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said.According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, the suspects were last seen driving a silver Kia sedan, possibly a 2024-25 Forte.If you have information in this case, you are asked to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477), on the P3 app or on its website. According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, “jugging” is a type of robbery where suspects follow victims to another location and commit a robbery after first observing the victims leave a local bank with a cash withdrawal.
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said the suspects in this case saw an older couple make a cash withdrawal and followed them to the McDonald’s located on Northeast Pine Island Road.
