May is National Historic Preservation Month, and while Tampa’s taken way more Ls than St. Petersburg, there’s not a municipality out there that doesn’t have to fight to protect the buildings and spaces that tell its history.

To bring like-minded folks together. Preserve the ‘Burg hosts a no-cover expo for anyone interested in restoration, preservation, design, construction and history. Pros with expertise in older homes and advocacy will be on hand along with Emily Elwyn who’ll lead two guided tours of the Mirror Lake neighborhood.

There’s no cover—but registration and donations are requested—for Preserve the ‘Burg’s Restoration & Design Expo happening Saturday, May 16 at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club.
