PORT ST. LUCIE — Costco celebrated a major milestone April 20 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new distribution center at 13077 SW Sansone Sr. Blvd. in the city’s Southern Grove district.
The massive 1.87 million-square-foot facility, located in Tradition, will serve as a key distribution hub for Costco operations throughout Florida.
Local officials, community leaders and project representatives gathered for the celebration, which highlighted the economic impact and continued growth taking place in Southern Grove.
In addition to the distribution depot, plans for the site also include a separate 170,000-square-foot Costco retail store and gas station.
