TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Police Department said an intersection in South Tampa was shut down Monday morning due to a gas leak.

Authorities said construction workers struck a TECO natural gas line at the S. Westshore Boulevard and W. El Prado intersection, causing the leak.
