OXFORD, Ohio (WXIX) – A Miami University student is behind bars after he was caught with cocaine by postal inspectors Friday afternoon, according to the City of Oxford Division of Police.
Will Esler, 22, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug trafficking after U.S. Postal Inspectors searched his home in the 200 block of South College Avenue just after noon.
During the search, authorities seized cocaine, electronics and paraphernalia, police said.
Esler, along with three other men, was taken to the Oxford Police Department for questioning.
Esler is being held at Butler County Jail.
Police said that his arrest was a part of an ongoing, monthslong investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Oxford police at 513-524-5268.
