TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Charges against one of the men accused of shooting Florida State University football player Ethan Pritchard in August have been dropped and charges against another have been upgraded.
Court documents show attempted murder charges against Jayden Bodison were dropped Monday, saying “it became apparent that Mr.Bodison was misidentified.”
Meanwhile, charges against Germany Atkins have now been upgraded to include three counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle.

The changes come after court records say prosecutors were able to use new technology to enhance surveillance video taken the night Pritchard and his family came under fire in their Dodge Charger at the Havana Heights Apartments on August 31.
Pritchard spent months in the hospital and in rehab as he continues to recover from a gunshot to the head.

He received a standing ovation at the recent Golden Nole Awards when he stunned the crowd by walking onto the stage with the help of a walker to accept the Doc Fauls Rise Above Adversity Award, a video shared to social media by the Florida State Seminoles Football on April 30 revealed.
Bodison has been released from the Gadsden County Jail, prosecutors say, and Atkins is expected to make his first court appearance on the newly upgraded charges Wednesday, court records show.
