The Tides Market and Eat, Art, Love will host a New Orleans-style brunch collaboration on Sunday, May 17. It starts at 8 am and wraps up at 2 p.m. You’ll find Eat, Art, Love at 589 22nd St. S. in St. Pete’s Warehouse Arts District.

Chef Jon and Chef Mario will team up to craft the menu. Eggs Sardou? Check. Grillades and grits? Yep. Duck gumbo rounds out the offerings.

Last year, Chef Jon and The Tides Market snagged a Michelin Guide recommendation when the guide arrived in Pinellas. Chef Mario operates the cafe in Safety Harbor and has assembled one of Tampa Bay’s most sought-after brunch spots.

According to I Love the Burg, this event also introduces the new summer menu at Eat, Art, Love. Space is tight, so booking ahead makes sense. Call Eat, Art, Love at 727-289-1713 during operating hours to reserve a table, though walk-ins might snag a seat.

Crossovers and collaborations have grown more frequent across the region in recent months, as Tampa Bay Times food and dining critic Helen Freund examined in April. These events give diners something fresh at the host location and let them try a restaurant they wouldn’t visit otherwise.

Tampa’s Lucky Tigre traveled to town for a collaboration with Cheeky’s in the Grand Central District earlier this year. St. Petersburg residents who seldom cross the bridge got a chance to taste the Tampa restaurant’s food without the drive.

Sunday’s brunch unites two of Pinellas County’s top destinations for a morning meal on the Gulf Coast.
