The vehicle fell nearly 30 feet onto Kings Highway, the fire district says.

The crash occurred near mile marker 131, which is State Road 68 (Orange Avenue), west of Fort Pierce. Three patients were taken a short distance by ground as Trauma Alerts to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, the agency posted on Facebook. No other vehicles were involved. St. Lucie County Fire District had responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash. While crews were en route, the Communications Division updated responders that the vehicle had gone over the side of an overpass before coming to rest on the southbound side of Kings Highway.
