This Halloween, get ready for all the thrills and (literal) chills as a refreshing cold front moves into South Florida! Dry and pleasant conditions are expected throughout the week, dropping afternoon highs into the lower 80s and lows into the 60s at night. The last time we woke up to temperatures in the 60s was actually back in April, according to WPLG Local 10.

Looking at the National Weather Service forecast for Miami, today’s weather is mostly sunny, with a high near 81 degrees this afternoon, and a low around 64 tonight.

Trick-or-treaters, partiers and others celebrating Halloween will feel a crisp and cool start to their Friday in the low 60s, with afternoon highs reaching the upper 70s. The pattern will continue into the weekend with afternoon highs in the lower 80s for Saturday and Sunday, and overnight lows in the upper 60s. A cloudy Sunday predicts a “slight chance of showers and thunderstorms” at night.

If you’re looking for things to do this Halloween, there’s no shortage of fun happenings in Miami, and you definitely don’t want to miss out on some of our favorites like Hocus Pocus festival and Zoo Miami’s annual Zoo Boo. You might even want to take advantage of this pleasant weather and plan a trip to a pumpkin patch!

And if you’re on the hunt for ghosts, check out some of the most haunted places in Miami, some of which are evidently creepy and others not so much.

Happy Halloween, Miami!
