The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a ground stop Tuesday at Tampa International Airport (TPA) due to severe weather and storms.
The ground stop, which applies to flights arriving at TPA, is in effect through at least 4:30 p.m.
It comes just after a tornado warning was briefly in place for Pasco and Hernando counties. Scattered rain and storms are still moving throughout the Tampa Bay area, with the possibility of impacting the Tuesday evening commute.
