On Tuesday, the 2025 Citizens Academy graduates were honored by the sheriff’s office and shared their experience in the program.
“It was an adventure, it was interesting, it was never dull,” graduate Cathryn Gray said. “It just opens your eyes to the sheriffs and what they do for us and people have no idea.”
The sheriff’s office says this program is designed to promote a better understanding between the sheriff’s office and the people of Leon County.
