• Does anyone else see the appearance of State Road 419 as you enter Winter Springs from Highway 17-92? On the east side, it has the looks of a dump. Concrete-block walls with pipes running down the tops of walls, piles of concrete, junk on top of junk. Come on, Winter Springs, I’ve been here for 28 years now and other than a trail alongside the area and a string of small bushes, this area is an embarrassment to our residents.
• I am furious that there is no way to contact Amazon via phone. I had an Amazon charge on my credit-card statement and I have no Amazon account, never ordered with them. I disputed the charge and was trying to notify them of this and I cannot speak to them since I have no Amazon account. I hope they’re out the money!

• Thank you to Landry’s Saltgrass restaurant in Orlando for the most amazing experience as my girlfriend and I celebrated our May birthdays. Aside from our meals cooked to perfection, our server, Elisa, made this experience one we will never forget. A server can definitely make or break a visit. Another plus was the friendliness and attention we received from both our server and the manager, Samme. Kudos to this restaurant for their high quality of food, presentation of the meal and the friendliness and attention of the outstanding staff.
• So refreshing to see the beautiful cardinals out on my early-morning walks in the neighborhood.
