BASEBALL

Jaron Buie, Jacksonville: The junior was 1-for-2 with a double and run in a 2-1 third-round defeat at Southern Lee.

Vasco Sutton, Jacksonville: The senior allowed just three hits, no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven in six innings.

GOLF

PJ Lefebvre, Lejeune: The sophomore finished in a three-way tie for fourth place at 78-75—153 in the NCHSAA 2-A championship tournament at Gates Four Golf & Country Club in Fayetteville.

BOYS LACROSSE

Trevor Baratier, Swansboro: The junior had five goals and four assists in an 18-9 first-round win over West Carteret.

Carmello Beasley, Swansboro: The sophomore had a goal and two assists.

Carter Geddes, Swansboro: The junior had a goal and two assists.

Wyatt Peterson, Swansboro: The junior had two goals and one assist.

Jackson Simmons, Swansboro: The freshman scored eight goals.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Mariah Reeves, White Oak: The senior scored two goals in a 5-3 first-round win at South Brunswick.

Kylie Stephens, White Oak: The senior had two goals and an assist.

SOCCER

Payton Berg, Southwest: The senior had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 first-round victory over Reidsville.

Adah Haffner, Southwest: The senior scored a goal.

Kenadie Bennett, Swansboro: The junior scored two goals in a 9-0 first-round win over South Johnston.

Addison Davis, Swansboro: The sophomore had a goal and two assists.

Miller Floyd, Swansboro: The senior added a goal.

Danae Jenkins, Swansboro: The freshman added a goal.

Chloe Johnson, Swansboro: The sophomore had a goal and an assist.

Alessandra Parker, Swansboro: The junior had two goals and an assist.

SOFTBALL

Bennett Holley, East Duplin: The freshman was 2-for-4 in a 6-5 third-round win in eight innings over Bunn.

Ansley Hunter, East Duplin: The freshman went 2-for-3.

Sophia Jones, East Duplin: The sophomore was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Ava Noble, East Duplin: The junior was 3-for-5 with two RBIs, including the game-winning hit with the bases loaded in the eighth inning.

Karsyn Parker, East Duplin: The junior was 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Lorena Rodriguiez, East Duplin: The freshman went 2-for-4.

Zoe Turner, East Duplin: The senior pitched eight innings, scattering 11 hits, allowing two earned runs and striking out one.

Sariah Soanes, Northside: The freshman scored in a 2-1 first-round loss at Hunt.
