St. Pete police are searching for three men who they say may have information about a “brutal attack” over the weekend.
It happened just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday on 1st Avenue North. Police say a 34-year-old man was punched and fell to the concrete unconscious.
The police department released video Wednesday showing the moment immediately after the attack, when investigators say one of the men tried to start a physical fight with a bystander, who was uninjured. The actual attack happens off-screen.
Investigators say they would like to find the men and speak to them. They’re asking anyone with more information to contact St. Pete police at 727-893-7780.
