ESTERO BAY, Fla. (WINK)— A manatee was found seriously injured in Estero Bay near the Pink Shell Resort.
Naturalist Rob Howell was kayaking when he discovered the injured manatee. He contacted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Manatee Division.
Crews transported the manatee to Zoo Tampa, where it remains in critical condition, Howell said. WINK News reached out to FWC for more information.
