TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Dozens of local food banks and community organizations are filling in for the thousands of families who won’t have SNAP benefits starting next month.
In Leon County, more than 30,000 families will go without food stamps on Saturday.

Good News Outreach in Tallahassee is one of many organizations that is working to address these issues. Today, they packed everything from milk to canned goods and produce.
Commissioner David O’Keefe said that the crisis is widespread and it will be a tough month for many.
