TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WKYT) – C.A. Carter fired a final round 65 to help lead Kentucky to a top-five finish in the NCAA Regional in Tallahassee, securing UK’s seventh appearance in the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship.
Carter, a sophomore, tied the Seminole Legacy Golf Course record, carding eight birdies in route to a -6 and a top three finish.
UK began the final round 10 shots out of contention before responding with a 9-under par team total to rally and finish fifth.
The Wildcats travel to Carlsbad, California for the 2026 national championships at the Omni La Costa Resort on May 22-27.
