This summer marks a major milestone for one of the island’s most popular summer camp options.
Camp on the Key, hosted by the Key Biscayne Presbyterian School, is now in its 11th year of providing enriching summer experiences for the community’s youngest explorers.
Since its establishment in 2015, the camp has become a staple for local families, offering a safe and vibrant environment for children ages 2-7. The 10-week program is designed to keep kids engaged and active. It runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
For parents needing a bit more flexibility, after-camp care is also available until 4 p.m.
Campers can look forward to a diverse schedule that ensures no two days are ever the same. The curriculum is packed with high-energy and educational activities, including:
• Outdoor Play: Daily fun on the playground and organized sports.
• Creative Arts: Engaging arts and crafts projects and cooking sessions.
• Discovery: Science experiments, nature adventures, and skits.
• Cooling Off: Popular “Water Days” to beat the South Florida heat.
The camp also features rotating weekly themes and special events, such as animal shows, professional magic performances and “Beach Bash” celebrations. From “Dino Week” to the “Summer Olympics” finale, every week offers a new world for children to discover.
The camp prides itself on its professional staff of counselors and teachers, showcasing professional care in a unique setting.
The facility at 160 Harbor Drive offers a unique advantage, providing expansive outdoor spaces and specialized amenities that set it apart from other programs on the island.
