The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened near the Craig Airport Thursday night.
A sheriff’s office spokesperson confirmed the incident shortly before midnight; all officers involved are believed to be okay.
The shooting happened in the 300 block of Eberly Drive, a residential road west of St. Johns Bluff North near the Craig Airport.
Details of the incident were not immediately available. It is unclear how many officers and suspects were involved.
Additional updates are expected to be released Friday morning.
