May 15, 2026 – Dates for the 2026 Florida Python Challenge will be announced May 19. A conservation effort that includes public outreach on invasive Burmese pythons, and a 10-day competition to remove the species from public lands in South Florida, it’s co-sponsored by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission,the South Florida Water Management District, Everglades National Park and other partners.
