Udinksi also discussed quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who threw 29 touchdowns with 12 interceptions last season – including 15 touchdowns with one interception in the last six games.
“What was so impressive was he continued to work to improve what he could every single day,” Udinski said. “He showed up for the entire season, whether we were struggling early or whether we were having success late.
“He was still working to improve the same way, and he was able to do that while things around him were fluctuating from a performance level.”
The Jaguars’ 2026 offseason program is ongoing at the Miller Electric Center, with organized team activities – the on-field, team-oriented phase of the voluntary offseason program – scheduled to begin May 26.
“We have guys who wake up and strive for that level of greatness,” Udinski said. “The nice thing about the group of guys we have on the coaching staff and in the locker room is that’s who we are. That’s who these guys are every day. Winning or losing, you’re going to have that same urgency.
“They want to embody that level of fast and things Liam talks about. There’s an understanding that last year is last year and we’re focused on the now.”
