Patients will have access to outpatient pediatric and adult neurological rehabilitation services
Orlando, FL (October 21, 2025) – Orlando Health is proud to announce the opening of its newest pediatric rehabilitation location at the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute in Ocoee — marking the organization’s first venture into West Orange County for pediatric rehabilitation services. In addition, Orlando Health LabWorks recently opened inside the facility for diagnostic testing and outpatient adult neurological rehabilitation will become available in early 2026.
The Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children pediatric clinic offers outpatient occupational, physical and speech therapy services, providing convenient access for families on the west side of town who previously traveled longer distances for care.
Adult patients seeking outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy for neurological and cancer-related conditions will be able to receive services on site in early January through Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute – Outpatient Center. The addition of these new rehabilitation services will make the Ocoee location uniquely comprehensive.
“This expansion allows us to meet families where they are and provide high-quality therapy services closer to home,” said Orlando Health Ambulatory Services Vice President Victor Rosenbaum. “Having pediatric, adult, and inpatient rehabilitation programs all in one location creates incredible opportunities for collaboration across the entire continuum of care. It’s especially meaningful for patients who may need ongoing rehabilitation as they grow from childhood into adulthood.”
The Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is a 54-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, serving patients recovering from complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Located on the Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital campus, the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute represents Orlando Health’s continued commitment to expanding access to specialized rehabilitation care throughout Central Florida. The institute was recently recognized as one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work and as one of Newsweek’s Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers in 2025. It is also ranked in the top decile nationally by US News and World Report.
